So, this is the visible remains of the wreck on Rhossili beach. This
picture was taken from the car park, because I didn't think we were going
to bother walking all the way down to have a look at it. |
I was wrong. This is Soo standing next to the wreck. |
This is Soo with dinner. Obviously, being Welsh, she eats nothing but
leeks |
And here is Soo quickly scoffing the leek before everyone else has arrived. |
These are some cows. |
Cow. |
Maize. |
This is known as "The Green Bridge of Wales". Despite the fact
that it's not very green and it's a bridge to nowhere. |
This is Soo on the viewing platform near "The Green Bridge of Wales".
She is viewing me and I'm viewing her. |
Soo in close up. |
"The Green Bridge of Wales" is slightly greener from the other side. |
Some stacks. |
To get to the coastline with the stacks and "The Green Bridge of Wales",
you have to drive through a military firing range. I'm not really sure
what I'm doing in this photo. |
Nobody tells me where to keep out of! |
This is the village of Flimston which is in the middle of the firing
range. Unsuprisingly, its population is rather small and most of the buildings
are falling down. In fact the most habitable looking structure was something
that looked like a portaloo, but wasn't. |
This is Soo and me. |
This is St Govans Chapel. Soo is also visible in this photo. She is sitting
in the same place as she was in the previous photo. |
A close up of Soo waiting patiently for me. |
Soo tries to learn the Macarena. |
Uncle John shows us the views from his farm. |
Stunning scenery. |
I think this is Broad Haven. |
Some cows. And Lion Rock. |
Soo's car. |
And finally, we saw this silly police man trying to take up as many spaces
as possible in Magor Services on the way back. I say he is silly because
if he'd parked at a slight angle, he could have taken up five spaces rather
than just the four. |
